What game are you playing now?

Hi all, I'm a newbie here, and nice to see you all. I'm the one who loves playing gaming, especially the MMOs.

Still hadn't found a new game which is really worthwhile to play, I'd like to know what are you guys are playing now and any good ones can you recommend, maybe not those so popular ones, but some new games ?

I have been playing EverQuest 2 since release, and it's better than ever IMHO. I am looking forward to DC Universe Online and Star Trek Online also Smile

EverQuest 2 is a nice MMO Smile

Though I also like to switch to Vanguard and Planetside once in a while. Aside from those that `Smaug mentioned, I'm also looking forward to The Agency and Aion Online ^^

Not playing any at the moment, but Star Trek Online has my eye as does The Agency. Most looking forward to at the moment though is Stargate Worlds!

Will say WoW is nagging at me again so much so i installed and fully patched the other day... I'm saying no thus far though wont be the best thing to start playing just as I'm going into my final year of university :S

I've made the switch to the darkside and have only been playing console games recently - I've been enjoying rock band lately. I'm waiting for Sw: The force unleased and Rock band 2 at the moment.

Seems Ever Quest 2 has more votes, and I would like to how you decide you choose a game you would like, or which point would attract you much more than others? Is it game community or game play, or game story and so on?
As for me, I would choose a game with an excellent gameplay, easy to start playing, and easy to control the role, with a clear story line.

Then EQ2 fits your bill to a tee. Easy control, easy to start, great game play for solo and group play, and of course, a very robust game history and lore.

If you decide to try it, let me know, I can always help you get going in the game and give you a small tour.

Hi there,

Sort of the first post here for me but thought this looked like a likely spot. EQ2 for me as well, been playing off and on since release, it's always drawn me back. I've tried the following...

WoW
Vanguard
Ever Quest 1
Guild Wars
Second Life
Lord of the Rings Online
Warhammer

I've an average PC and I find that EQ2 gives me the best performace / graphical nice things than any other.
