I am currently searching for a software that helps changing the voice, while speaking on Ventrilo. But, sadly didn't come up with any remarkable results.
I was wondering if you guys ever used something like this, and if yes, which software ?

The concept of voice modulation is actually very simple, and can be done without any extra expensive tools.
However, with that said, it sounds like you want to do real-time voice modulation (changing) through a voice chat program. That could get a bit tricker, as you have to almost use the same software for both purposes (chatting and modulation), and Ventrillo, TeamSpeak, and others don't offer that feature. MS Game Voice was thinking about adding in a feature like that, but it never made it.
Creative labs hardware can do it, even a cheapie Soundblaster Pro, you don't need an Audigy.
And lastly, here is a google link to voice modulation software:
www.google.com/search?...n+software
Unfortunately I don't think you are going to be able to accomplish what you are looking to do (chat with a different voice than your own) until someone integrates modulation and effects into a voice application, or you go buy a better soundcard with the modulation software that works through the hardware.
I hope this helps

You could try this: eldroth.homeip.net/VoiceChanger (My local WebServer)
It's what I've used - it can modulate any sound card input - I even use it with my USB Headset.
Enjoy.

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys.
Koelan, that is indeed a nice app, but the sound is not clear at all on my computer, dunno why...somewhere there must be a conflict.
But I found another one that worked well on my computer, especially after I tuned a bit the effects.
If you are interested, it's called Scramby
