Is Mindmaker closed now?
I've tried to upgrade my GC to GC2 and can't even get on their main page let alone to the GC site.

Good question, I can't hit either GC.com or Mindmakers site. Could be a temporary problem, I will see if their PR email still works.

Found a trial for GC2 if you want to download it:

I've been trying for a couple of weeks now, thanks for the link.

I don't at all mean this to be ungrateful but because I can't get to the site for registration so I can't use all the features!

I won't use a crack so I guess I'm out of luck with using my paid for GC2?

Unless anyone has any other ideas?

gc2 doesn't work with vista, btw.

its works for me just had to get the mic on in the recording devices.

which is better of the 2 gc2 or this shooter thing.

and back again...

FTP EQ Live reminded me about my afk skill training days with GC2 and web searches brought me here and seeing that the website no longer exists.

I still have the email from support when I couldn't find my keys and an "Earl Bock" replied with my GX key since it was an upgrade, as well as the upgrade GC2 key. I did a search on my computer and see I have two GC2 folders after various OS installs but since the files that would go on the Windows install aren't on my Windows 7 install it pops up a dll error:

Unable to laod the recognition engine: gtv.dll
Item or value could not be found
Error code: -8

I am afraid installing the gc2trial.exe may mess it up since it is an upgrade.

Any good software out there like this these days? I am currently downloading it from a demonoid magnet link to see if the key I have will work.

The last time I posted here about LoTRO was in 2007 with Windows XP.

I am mostly playing EQ II on two servers, one mainly Unrest, other CB, and now checking out my old characters on EQ Live Bertox and new character on the new Vox server.

What I will do later when rested is probably backup those folders/files, install in another partition again, and try to apply the GC2 key I have to the gc2trial.exe setup.

If that doesn't work then I will try the one being downloaded; running it through AVG first of course.
