Although the GCC EQ2 guild is absolved and I am no longer leading MMO guild, I am an officer in one of the largest EQ2 guilds in the game, and one of the friendliest! As such, I wanted to extend an invitation to this event to anyone here who still plays EQ2!
When: Bi Weekly (Every Other Saturday at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and 2am GMT)
Schedule
May 3rd
May 17th
May 31st
I will add more dates depending on these events attendance. If this becomes popular, I will make it a regular bi-weekly event for the guild as long as I am able to do so. I may look for a backup partner on those odd days I cannot make it.
Where: Maj'Dul (Faire Harem Cabana in-progress, until such time, we will meet at the front of the city itself to avoid aggo for lower levels). Antonia Bayle server, EQ2.
What: At each event, Elric will give out samples of his cooking and baking skills, not to mention free beer! To avoid continuing in the third person, I will also host various contests for prizes, all who attend the faire are welcome to join in in them of course. Due to overwhelming support from my fellow Blackhawk crafters, new prizes will be donated to each faire's pool, so it won't always be food item from me, or some tree stump I found in Kaal's trash can.
Several mid and high level crafters have asked if they could join me in the next event, so I expect we will be having a more diverse and fun time than ever before..
I encourage other crafters and guildmates to come along for several reasons.....
1 - It's a GREAT way to have fun and meet other hawks and new members without worrying about that tank pull every 10 seconds for a while
2 - If you craft, or are rich, feel free to run your own contests. I run things like triviarandom dice rolls, and drunk runs through the city of Maj'dul mentored to where we have green agrro all over. There are PLENTY of other contest ideas I can come up with, here is an open challenge to those of you willing to help make this a real faire, and not just a one man show.
3 - If the crafters do come, this is a great place to trace components, make orders, and exchange ideas with those more seasoned than yourself.
4- It would make me happy to know you like this idea, and supporting it with your attendance would go a long way to make this a regular, and very fun event. I would even dare say we could make several other guilds jealous a tad of the comraderie, and also attract quality new members who happen to see these events in open areas.....
