And darn it's nice
Lights, LCD Display, macro keys, and even a switch to disable the Windows Key from interrupting your game
Works great with Ventrilo: It will display who's talking, the last couple of events, which room you are in, what's happening in the Chat Window, all on the display.
In Vanguard, the display transforms into a stats window, or a big compass!
The Advanced Combat Tracker for EQ2 shows all kinds of data on it.
Finally there's a number of native /Applets/ for it, like a clock, a mail checker (which even allows you to delete spam), system info, media display.
Color me impressed!

I bought one a month ago, and returned it within a day for a few reasons.....
LCD screen was neat, but did not fit my desk drawer keyboard tray when raised fully. The keyboard is about 4" longer than any other on the market, and the way I play I use my mouse at the same height as my keyboard, and the tray I use the the ideal height.
Without getting a new desk, the G15 was just not for me.
The backlighting was the most important feature to me, along with the ergonomcs. I went with the Saitek Eclipse II keyboard, spent about $40 less, and got a better performing kayboard IMHO. Keystokes are very smooth and fluid, although no "Natural style". I like the 3 colors too, but I am silly like that
I also lack the macro buttons the G15 has, but honestly, how often are you guys really using them and updating them with new games?
I usually find the macro gimmicks to be appealing, but ultimately, I don;t use them much.

Yes, but now I love my Reclusa keyboard. I don't need an LCD on my keyboard.

Indee a old thread but... Just got a G9 and G11 for birthday and have to say not completely impressed.
Still have my old, MS Wireless desktop Elite keyboard and Mouse connected and have to say i prefer the size of the mouse, though granted that's the only down side to the mouse. If the G9 had a different grip i could connect that made it slightly higher it would be great, do love the speed control on it and the micro-grip on the wheel.
As for the G11, it doesn't feel right, have been using the old keyboard for about 5years so very use to it, but the G11 is too low even with the legs out. The software isnt the best... mainly the inability to modify my media keys. (Hitting play/pause will open itunes from system, have to disable the key and works fine with the MS keyboard).
Have to say, i expected a better design for the G11 considering what it is.
I'd still recommend the MS Wireless Desktop Elite keyboard and mouse to anyone looking for a new one, though if want a faster mouse for gaming the G9 is worth a look.
